Yes
Where, how long, and what Board?
Just under a year on the UPF board in Bozeman
* Please describe your professional and personal experiences, interest, and qualifications that make you a good fit for this board.
I manage the maintenance of the urban landscape within the Big Sky Town Center; this work includes the parks, the selection of trees for planting, and the general public
works of the residential and commercial district. The work that I do helps to provide a maintenance and working perspective of the tasks approached by the UPF board.
Additionally, as a resident of Bozeman, I spend much of my personal time in the city's parks. Particularly in my neighborhood along the Cattail Corridor.
* The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have engaged in to expand your understanding of
DEI.
Much of my most recent learning has been in my participation on the UPF board through public comment as well as the previous iteration of the PRAT plan. This has taught
me valuable lessons in the importance of park usability (particularly with multi-generational parks) and park accessibility to various neighborhoods with differing populations.
