I have forwarded to our Acce ss Control Manager, and I will let you know if he has any further questions or needs anything else. MDT has our own process for deeding accesses back, and our Access Control Manager will prepare the paperwork on our end that will then need to be signed by your c lient. I can schedule a short meeting with our Access Con trol Manager to answer any questions you and your team may have and explain the process if you are interested or think it would be beneficial. He has let me know he will need to have the chain of title documents showing the property ownership chain from cu rrent owners to 1991 for both parcels and that generally this is done through a title company. MDT can provide you with the deeds from 1991 if you are s till wanting those as well. Hi Olin, MDT has completed an initial review of the application a nd submitted documents for the Salvation Army approach on N 19th Ave in Bozeman and has the following comments. : • MDT requests a full construction plan set with typical se ctions, profile sections, detailed drawings, and sign and striping plans for MDT review and approval. • A contour site map showing flow paths with a statement that no drainage will be added to N 19th is requested. • Based on the location of the southern approach shown on the plan set, this approach will be required to be a right-in/right-out with a concrete island within the ap proach to ensure no desired movements are allowed. o Lighting is required for approaches with a concrete islan d. A lighting analysis will also be required and upgraded, or additional lighting may be needed to me et the requirements. • Turning movements for both design and control vehicles wi ll also be required, as well as a narrative identifying what, if any, alternative access points for de livery vehicles and/or sanitation services would be expected to be used. o At a minimum, a design vehicle is to be the SU-30, with a control vehicle of Bozeman’s largest fire truck. If a delivery vehicle that is larger than an SU-30 or is articulated, then the design vehicle should be designated as such. • MDT implemented access control on this part of N 19th with project 0485-002. The property in question was part of Parcels 10 and 11. Parcel 10 has a deeded movable approach between stations 10+00 and 11+62. Parcel 11 has a joint use approach with Parcel 12 at station 12+96, which is the existing approach on the north side of this property. o MDT will need to get the approaches deeded back to MDT via Quit Claim Deeds as this moves through the process. The parcel information is detailed b elow for chain of title purposes.  Parcel 10 – Chain of title from current ownership back to 19 91 when the property was owned by Lois W. Sanders.  Parcel 11 - Chain of title from current ownership back to 1991 when the property was owned by Anton Lovfald Estate, Helen Lovfald as person al representative. MDT will NOT require a TIS as the estimate volumes for this type of de velopment are very low. MDT does have the following comments concerning the app roaches associated with this development: • MDT will require an approach permit for all approaches o nto N 19th Ave associated with this development. • Based on the location of the southern approach shown on the plan set, this approach will be required to be a right-in/right-out with a concrete island within the ap proach to ensure no desired movements are allowed. o Lighting is required for approaches with a concrete islan d. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Hello Kristina and Ted, As you saw on Tuesday, Taylor Lonsdale gave me your i nformation about a TIS waiver for a site I am working on here in Bozeman. We would like to waive a TIS study unless you decide we need one. The site is for a Sa lvation Army (Geocode:06-0798-01-3-01-32-0000), I have attach ed our preliminary site plan. Also attached is the 10th edition land use list and the code is 495 (Trips Per Un it=2.31) . The overall square footage of the facility is 16814 ft^2 on a 0.935-acre (40728.6 ft^2) property. Please l et me know if there is any additional information you need from me regarding your decision. Please let me know how we should proceed. Taylor has deferred the decision to you and elected that if the MDT does not require a TIS, the city will not require one.
