Disability Rights Montana is excited to invite you to a Legislative Kick-off Reception at our office: Date: January 7th Time: 7:00 PM Location: 1022 Chestnut Street, Helena, MT 59601 We’ll have snacks, refreshments, and a welcoming space for everyone. Whether you’re looking to build relationships or just catch up with colleagues, this reception is a great chance to kick things off. This will be the first of many events that will be hosted at Disability Rights Montana throughout the legislative session and will share more details about future opportunities at the reception. Beyond this reception, DRM is excited to share that our office will be open throughout the legislative session to provide a supportive environment for all who are advocating for meaningful change. Whether you’re a legislator, an advocate, or a partner organization, we want our office to be a resource for you. Here’s What We’re Offering During Office Hours (8AM- 5PM, Monday through Friday): A welcoming, inclusive community area to relax, enjoy refreshments, and recharge. A sensory room designed to support a variety of sensory needs and provide a calm space for those who may need it. Private office space to work, take calls, or meet with others.Opportunities for collaboration to strengthen our collective advocacy efforts.A centralized, accessible space to host your own trainings or events (after-hours reservations available). We want to create a collaborative environment where advocates and legislators can come together to focus on the issues that matter most. Whether you’re wanting to host an event or simply looking for a moment to regroup, we hope you’ll consider Disability Rights Montana your home base during the session. We look forward to meeting you!
