Immediately stop all unsustainable development, knowing our valley water resources are
going to run out in the early 2030s. By continuing to allow unsustainable development and"kick the can down the road" you will ruin the Last Best Place, and that will be your legacy.
End all the fake "affordability" giveaways and incentives for developers.
An example is giving Bozeman Yards height extension and parking reductions for 2 x 120%
median income single bed apartments. This is INSANE. Stuff like that makes the City looklike it's in the developers' pockets, and doesn't help the affordability problem at all for locals.
Stop the sprawl. For example, the expansion of urbanite apartment cities on South 19th is
gross. It dilutes the value of Bozeman and none of those apartments are "affordable."Shouldn't university style affordable housing be put next to the university???? Not "luxury"
apartments.
Stop ruining Bozeman, and giving away our city to developers in the name of fake"affordability."
