WHEREAS,theCityof Bozeman receiveda petitionforannexationfrom Luke Welborn requestingtheCity Commission to extendtheboundariesof theCity of Bozeman so as to include an areaoflandcontainingapproximately2.705acres,describedherein;and WHEREAS,an annexation staffreport was prepared in accordance with the Commission's goalsand policiesforannexationand was presentedtothe Commission on July16, 2024;and WHEREAS,a publicmeeting on saidannexationpetitionwas duly noticedand heldon July 16,2024;and WHEREAS,theCityreceivedno writtenprotestfrom realpropertyowners oftheareato be annexed;and WHEREAS,on October 29,2024,the Commission receivedthe executedannexation agreementaddressingallrecommended termsof annexation;and WHEREAS,the provisionof availableservices,including,but not limitedto,streets, rights-of-way,easements,waterrightsor cash-in-lieu,waiversofprotestagainstcreationof SID's, and water and sewer hookup fees,to saidcontiguoustractsas describedisthe subjectof a written agreementbetween theCityand theLandowner;and WHEREAS,the Bozeman City Commission hereby findsthatthe annexationof this contiguoustractisinthebestinterestsof theCityofBozeman and theinhabitants/ownersthereof.
