DESCRIPTION: THE PROPOSED GARAGE/ADU ADDITION RELATES TO THE EXISTING CHARACTER OF THE BLOCK IN TERMS OF SCALE,
MATERIALITY AND FORM. THE PROPOSED STRUCTURE WILL BE TWO-STORIES WITH HORIZONTAL LAP SIDING ON THE SECOND LEVEL
OF THE STRUCTURE TO MATCH THE EXISTING HOME’S SIDING. A NATURAL TONED WOOD OR COMPOSITE SHIPLAP SIDING WILL WRAP
THE FIRST LEVEL. THE LOW PROFILE OF THE PROPOSED ROOFLINE WILL HELP TO MINIMIZE THE EXPERIENCED SCALE OF THE
BUILDING AT THE STREET LEVEL, WHILE THE OVERHANGS PROVIDE WEATHER PROTECTION FOR THE STAIR AND CARPORT.
