I am writing to ask that you put a hold on any development until new long-term growth plans
can be reviewed. I hate to hear about the development that may hinder 4 Daughters farm aswell as the 7-story building that may reduce affordable housing in the city center. It seems that
unhindered growth which you see just driving down Main Street has gotten out of control. Weneed to maintain Bozeman’s and Montana’s heritage. Stop allowing the developers to take
over (without paying their fair share, vote the lack of taxes they paid and the increase to ourtaxes to make up for it), we don’t need what they bring. At least put a stop to it until we get a
full review and strategy to be able to grow alongside maintaining our land, view and way oflife. Every development should have to go through a public comment period before being
approved and be “good” for those of us that live in the community full time.
