Re: Application 22389 Dear Members of the Planning Department, I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed apartment complexwithin the Gran Cielo subdivision. As a resident of Bozeman, I am deeply concerned about the negative impacts this development will have on our community. Firstly, the increased traffic that this apartment complex will bring is a significantconcern. Our roads are already congested, and adding more vehicles will only exacerbate the problem, leading to longer commute times and increased risk ofaccidents. This is not the kind of growth that benefits our community. Secondly, the proposed development does not align with the character and cohesion of the surrounding neighborhood. Gran Cielo is known for its close-knit communityand harmonious environment. Introducing a large apartment complex will disrupt this balance and undermine the sense of community that we cherish. Furthermore, I believe this project represents a misuse of zoning requirements andregulations. The zoning laws are in place to ensure that developments are appropriate for their locations and that they serve the best interests of the community. This apartment complex does not meet these criteria and sets a concerning precedent for future developments. Lastly, the impact on our beloved neighborhood farming communities cannot beoverlooked. Bozeman is renowned for its agricultural heritage, and developments like this threaten to erode the very essence of what makes our town special. The farmingcommunities are integral to our local culture and economy, and their preservation should be a priority. In conclusion, I urge you to reconsider the approval of this apartment complex. It iscrucial that we prioritize developments that enhance, rather than detract from, the quality of life in Bozeman. I hope you will take these concerns into account and makea decision that reflects the best interests of our community. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
