Senator Danes often says at the beginning of his local talks that Bozeman is great because it’s only 30 minutes away from Montana – invoking laughter from the crowd. 10 years ago heused to say at the beginning of his speeches that Bozeman is great because it’s only 15 minutes away from Montana. Bozeman is great, it has grown exponentially, but we love itbecause it IS in Montana. Stuckey Road is one of those gems that is somehow still existing in Bozeman, but it’s being overrun by Bozeman. The road contains rich farmland that is used by both Montana StateUniversity, and ranchers, and Four daughters farm CSA. It’s still a farm road, it has wetlands in a ditch that would be lost if it were to be widened. I understand there is a proposition tobuild yet more large scale high density living units on Stucky Road. I move to relocate the plans to a different location that is more equipped with infrastructure like existing high volumeroads and traffic flow, and would not be such a loss to the farming community, land use, and wetlands Please don’t overrun this part of the farming community that Bozeman once was.NO development on Stucky Rd.
