Dear City Commission The Bozeman Landmark Program Policy Conservations should include protections for trees, other natural features, and environmental spaces. HPAB’s visionary Cultural Landscape/Heritage Tree Program should be included in the Bozeman Landmark Program. Meaningful and enforceable tree protections should be codified in Bozeman’s municipal codes, including those pertaining to historic preservation. Dear City Commission, here's my comment on the NCOD limit the use of the incentives to greenfield development and parcels fronting major arterials limit the use of the incentives to projects proposed by non profit developers amend the ordinance to include a NOAH preservation clause replace the existing ordinance with an Affordable Housing Overlay Zone as described in a BBC/DSA joint presentation revise the affordability requirements in the ordinance to better suit the needs of workers in Bozeman Include some minimum square footage requirements and clarifications around what constitutes a studio or a 1 bedroom, so that renters don’t end up paying extortionist rates for postage stamp rooms
