Dear City Commision and Planning staff. I am opposed to the proposed Block B development on East Babcock as it’s
currently proposed for the follow reasons: 1. Giving a luxury condo developer the affordable housing incentives for
only two “affordable units” of 42, if I understand the proposal correctly, is not in the best interest of the city
taxpayers. I’m not opposed to luxury condo development but they’re the last people who need any incentives. 2. It’s
my STRONG opinion that ANY development moving forward must have AT LEAST one parking spot per unit. Allowing
less without a significant increase in public transportation is ABSURD. 3. Bozeman needs to develop strategic
locations for affordable housing within the city and then enable that development through incentives for developers
who support the vision and public transportation to support the development strategy. Respectfully, Mike Kennedy
