Ralph Bergantine 6770 Cottonwood RoadBozeman, MT 59718 My family and I regularly utilize Stucky Road to get to and from Bozeman. As such, I am concerned about Application 23306, which is proposed to add 312 living units in addition tothe 237 units in Buffalo Run and 394 units in the Cielo Subdivision. All of these units will funnel more traffic onto Stucky Road. Page 10 of the “Fowler South Residential Development Traffic Impact Study” that wasprepared in September 2023, states that “Based on the traffic volume data collected by ATS on June 2023, Stucky Road is already hitting these projected road volumes (2040 traffic volumescontained in the transportation plan) and the reconstruction of Stucky Road may be currently necessary.” As stated in the report, much of the traffic flows at speeds well above the posted speed limit. In addition, existing traffic trying to merge onto Stucky Road from S 27th Ave., Enterprise Blvd., and Discovery Drive often do so by just pulling out into traffic and taking their chancesthat oncoming traffic will be able to slow down in time to prevent an accident. Bicycle traffic is another problem, as people often move into the oncoming traffic lane, right into oncomingtraffic, to get around the bikers. There are more traffic problems that could be discussed. The problems are only going to intensify with additional development in the area. I believe that there is a seriousinfrastructure problem that needs to be addressed before any more development occurs. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Ralph Bergantine
