To Whom It May Concern: I am writing regarding application 23306 and the 5 Range Site Plan Application. This plan should be reviewed by the city planning department carefully and completely. It is important that those within the department realize the impact a new apartment complex will have on this area, and that it is not at all a necessary development. There are many issues with this proposed application, including but not limited to: -the additional cars and traffic that would be added. Stucky, Patterson, and the surrounding roads are not at all capable of handling more traffic. -Bozeman DOES NOT NEED more residential apartments. Our town is quickly becoming overgrown with these huge apartment complexes that are not affordable, nor are they full! They are not helping at all with affordable housing, and instead they are large, vacant buildings just taking up space, ruining the landscape and views of our lovely town. -there will be a direct impact to the surrounding ranches and farms, including 4 Daughters Farms. Our family had so much fun picking flowers and raspberries at the farm this summer. We also had our family photos taken there in August. Bozeman needs places like this- that maintain the beauty of the valley and offer fun experiences for all ages. The most fertile land in the valley should not be replaced by three story condos. I know everything is subject to development these days, but why not at the very least, allow for single family homes so people can have yards (something seemingly non-existent in Bozeman anymore) so people can have their own space and maybe even their own gardens? Please review this site plan carefully and thoroughly. Please know that Bozeman needs more places like 4 Daughters Farm, not more apartments.
