I am concerned that theinfrastructure on the south side of the university has far exceeded the transportation planning for the same area. This site plan will introduce another 312 dwelling units with anestimated 2 cars per dwelling unit for an additional 700 cars that will travel on narrow roads in an established agricultural area. I believe this project will have significant impacts on theroads and the safety of citizens who already call south Bozeman home. In addition, this project will impact an existing agricultural operation at 4 Daughter’s Farm, the adjacent Agricultural stations, and other area farms and ranches. I am not anti-development, but I do see the pace of growth in south Bozeman as exceeding the ancillary systems for traffic control, pedestrian and cycling corridors, environmental impacts, andimpacts on established businesses that depend on sunlight, clean water, pollinators, and an intact ecosystem. I am hoping that the Bozeman Planning Department will slow down thegrowth machine to a pace where development can be well thought out and not cause irreparable harm to agri-business. It is particularly important that adjacencies bethoughtfully considered. In closing, I would refer the planning committee to the Code of the West document that has guided growth in Gallatin County for decades: Code of the West | Gallatin County, MTIt is item #3, Show respect for our state and local laws, for wildlife, for the land and for the people ... especially those engaged in farming and ranching, that I think is the principlethat needs to be at the center when considering the merits and areas for improvement in application 23306. Thank you for soliciting written input, Laura S. Larsson 502 Cambridge Dr. Bozeman, MT 59715
