My name is Siri Devlin and I am a consistent patron and occasional helper at Four Daughters Farm, a beautiful farm adjacent to the proposed Range 5 development. I write this email to express my dismay at the possibility of a development being erected soclose to a thriving farm. Development in that area would cause potentially devastating consequences to the fertility and health of the plants, soil, water supply, andlivestock at Four Daughters Farm. The Gallatin Valley is home to some of the most fertile and productive soil in the state and I feel disturbed at the thought of more of it being occupied bydevelopment. Blocking light to the farm will certainly deeply impact their ability to function and grow the beautiful produce and flowers that they are known for in our community. FourDaughters Farm produces some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen and I have been cheered up by them on many a difficult day. Their sustainable and regenerative farmingpractices should be supported, not hindered or made impossible by development. I had the privilege of painting a large mural on the property this summer and my time spent on the farmcompleting this project was some of my most treasured time in many years. On a logistical note adding such a huge development in this area will undoubtedly create more traffic and dangerous conditions than what already exists. Stucky is already too congested as itis, and it sounds as though there will not be proper infrastructure in this area to safely support more traffic, let alone the noise pollution that will certainly impact the customer experienceand the ability to farm. It is currently an unsafe road, particularly for bikers and even automobile drivers when there is inclement weather or not, and I do not believe that anyadditional traffic could be responsibly added in this area. Wildlife and livestock take refuge and have habitat in this area, particularly in a grove of beautiful trees that would be impactedby the proposed development site. To approve this development would mean irreparable negative impact on Four Daughters Farm in so many ways including productivity, profitability, customer experience, wildliferefuge, environmental health, and overall well being of a beautiful local business and space. I urge you to value local farming in the Gallatin Valley by hearing my concerns and rejectingthis new development. Siri Devlin Behavioral Health Therapist, LCPC
