Hello,
As a young Bozeman community member, I am very saddened to see the
destruction of our green spaces in the community. When I moved here 7 years ago for
college, I fell in love with Bozeman because of the immense amount of care that was
put into the beauty of the town, especially with the green spaces and parks. Since
then, I have seen hundreds of adult trees cut down to make room for cheaply built
apartments and homes with little care for the impact it is having on the quality of life
for the residents of the city of Bozeman.
Now, I see that another adult tree who is growing every year is going to be cut down to
make room for more developments, crowding the town that I love and removing more
green space from the residents of Bozeman. I find this situation unacceptable and
demand that this ponderosa pine be saved. The local Bozeman community gets
nothing of value in exchange for the destruction of this tree.
Save the Ponderosa Pine.
Best,
--
