Dear Kim Brown and the Bozeman City Commission,
I am writing to you as a concerned resident of Bozeman regarding the proposed
removal of a significant ponderosa pine tree, at Main St. and N. 5th Ave. The tree's
removal would represent an devistating loss to our local community's environmental
and aesthetic landscape. Bozeman must stop letting developers ignore city codes for
protecting mature trees, which is drastically degrading the beauty of our town.
I urge you to find alternative solutions that would preserve this mature ponderosa
pine. The value of such an established tree to our local ecosystem far outweighs
potential short-term development interests.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely, Jacqueline Frank, long-term resident
