September concluded AmeriCorps’ yearlong 30th anniversary celebration highlighting how national service has been – and continues to be – a movement that brings out the best in America. Thank you to all elected officials who joined us all year long in honoring this milestone, and we look forward to another 30 years and beyond! We also extend our gratitude to those who joined in meal packs and other service projects in commemoration of September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Here in DC, elected officials helped pack 450,000 meals alongside community members for those in need.
