BOZEMAN WRF MCC PROCUREMENT 2024
General Notice
The City of Bozeman, Montana (Owner) is requesting Bids for Equipment Procurement for the following
Procurement Contract:
Bozeman WRF MCC Procurement 2024
Project Number: WW121
Bids for Equipment Procurement will be received by the Bozeman City Clerk at Bozeman City Hall until
Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:30 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly
opened and read aloud. Bids may be hand-delivered or shipped to the attention of the City Clerk at the
physical address of 121 N. Rouse Ave, Suite 202, Bozeman, MT 59715, or mailed to P.O. Box 1230,
Bozeman, MT 59771-1230.
The Project includes the following Work:
The Bozeman WRF MCC Procurement Contract asks a qualified system integrators to provide and
commission three (3) Motor Control Center (MCC) assemblies for replacing existing MCCs at the
Bozeman Water Reclamation Facility. The MCCs control critical unit processes:
• BASE BID (MCC 1): Unitrol™ MCC, managing miscellaneous pumps with 4+ motors totaling
73.5 hp.
• Additional Alternate 1 (MCC 2): Anaerobic digester boiler room, controlling 8+ motors with
a total load of 57.4 hp.
• Additional Alternate 2 (MCC 3): Gravity thickener and secondary clarifiers, controlling 4+
motors with a total load of 2.75 hp.
The Seller is responsible for drafting engineering circuitry and wiring diagrams, coordinating with the
Engineer and Owner, and procuring, packaging, and delivering all assemblies to the Point of
Destination. The contract will be assigned to an electrical contractor for installation of Seller’s
equipment, after which time the Seller will coordinate with the Installation Contractor to provide
start-up and commissioning services.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website for a fee of $25.00. Prospective
Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents
are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper
format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan
holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official
notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated
website and its registered plan holders. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding
Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Conference
No pre-bid conference will be held for the Procurement Contract.
Instructions to Bidders.
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award,
refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will
be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for
registration are available from the DLI, PO Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana 59604-8011.
Information on registration can be obtained by calling (406) 444-7734. CONTRACTOR is not required to
have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project, but must have registered prior to execution
of the Construction Agreement. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or
subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required
by the laws of Gallatin County and the state of Montana. Dick Anderson Construction is an Equal
Opportunity Employer. Discrimination in the performance of any agreement awarded under this project
on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, marital status, national origin, or actual or perceived
sexual orientation, gender identity or disability is prohibited. This prohibition shall apply to the hiring
and treatment of the awarded entity’s employees and to all subcontracts.
As such, each entity submitting under this notice shall include a provision wherein the submitting entity,
or entities, affirms in writing it will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age,
marital status, national origin, or because of actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or
disability and which also recognizes the eventual contract will contain a provision prohibiting
discrimination as described above and that this prohibition on discrimination shall apply to the hiring
and treatment of the submitting entity’s employees and to all subcontracts.
The entity awarded a contract under this project and any subcontractors must abide by the Equal Pay
Act of 1963 and Section 39-3-104, MCA (the Montana Equal Pay Act), and affirm it will abide by the
above and that it has visited the State of Montana Equal Pay for Equal Work “best practices” website, or
equivalent “best practices publication and has read the material.
