Hi Nick and Nic,
I just wanted to reach out and thank you both for getting the parking district item on tonight'sagenda. I'll be attending and would love the opportunity to meet you both in person.
Below are the key points I plan to raise during my public comment, most of which stem fromdiscussions with neighbors. While some points extend beyond the parking district itself, they
all contribute to the broader safety concerns we're seeing in the neighborhood.
Requests for the Board:
1. Support the effort for the neighborhood to work toward final adoption and approval ofthe Residential Parking District.
2. Extend the proposed district further down Tanzanite, especially in front of the parkand creek where high school extracurricular activities take place.
3. Implement a consistent speed limit of 15 mph along Flanders Mill within the schoolzone (due to nearby daycare).
4. Establish park speed limits along Tanzanite, particularly near Diamond Park.5. Support off-site parking solutions:
Allow parking on the east side of Flanders Mill (low pedestrian use).No parking on the west side to maintain visibility and street width (shared use
path).
Thanks so much for all your work on this. I’m looking forward to tonight’s discussion!
Best,
Courtney
