Below are a few questions I believe Bozeman taxpayers want you to answer on today'sAffordable Housing presentation:
- According to the data from Frontier Institute’s FY 2025, the City of Bozeman’s budget has
grown 95.03% faster than the growth of the economy, as measured by population growth plusinflation. How this money was spent, and why does the city claim they need more levies to

- To develop the BIB plan, Bozeman city commissioners paid our tax money to a communistMorten group from Chicago that claims, "We pursue equity and liberation from the oppressivesystems of white supremacy, heteropatriarchy, and exploitative capitalism." Did you askBozeman’s taxpayers’ opinion about using their tax money to pay for Chicago anti-whiteMarxists? How much tax money Bozeman paid to the Morten group?https://www.mortengroup.com/values
- Two drug cartels operate in Bozeman, yet the city commissioners insist that the biggestproblem in Bozeman is that we have too many white people. How much do these cartels anddrug-related crime cost to Bozeman taxpayers? Do you or city commissioners plan to attendthe Community Safety Briefing on September 30th at Calvary Chapel?
- City commissioners have a list of organizations that provide free legal help to tenants who
are victims of unlawful evictions or rent raises. Did you provide the list to Tenants’ United?Do the commissioners still consider using taxpayers’ money to hire paid lawyers?
- Does or does not Deputy Mayor Joey Morrison's direct involvement in Tenant’s Unitedgroup violate the city ordinance 2157 that, in the case of conflict of interests, requires
commissioners to “recuse themselves, step off the dais, and refrain from discussion and vote?”Did he apologize for allowing his friends to disturb the city meeting in August?
