Ipersonally talked to a new neighbor last winter who told me that he made offers on 2 homes but lost out to Blackstone on both. That was the first time I heard about Blackstone. Hefinally bought a house and has 3 roommates so he can pay the mortgage. He painted his not-a- mansion house purple! There's no HOA to tell him he can't do that....and no HOA to protectour neighborhoods from bankers who want to upzone and up-build so they gain more profit.
