Montana Automation Loan Program is accepting applications. Applications will be
accepted on a first come, first served basis until all funds have been obligated. Apply
now.
Tribal Business Development Grant open for applications from Sept. 16-Dec. 20,
2024.
Economic Impact and Destination Event Grant application period open now-Sept.
20, 2024.
Indian Equity Fund Small Business Grant is open now until Sept. 30, 2024.
Tourism Advisory Council is seeking new members. If you're interested, apply on
the Governor's Office Boards and Appointments web page.
State Small Business Credit Initiative Program is accepting applications from
Aug. 16-Oct. 2, 2024. Apply now.
Tourism Development and Enhancement Revolving Loan Fund Grant Program
Extended deadline to apply is Oct. 15, 2024. Contact tourismgrants@mt.gov for
questions or assistance.
State Small Business Credit Initiative Program Recycled Funds is accepting
applications on a rolling basis for the duration of the program. Note there is a policy
change for SSBCI Recycled Funds.
Join Commerce's Export Team in the Montana Pavilion at IWA Outdoor Feb. 27-
Mar. 2, 2025, in Nuremberg, Germany. Commerce, through the Small Business
Administration's STEP grant, pays for all booth expenses, including booth space and
reimbursement of up to $2,000 of travel costs for participants. Commerce also
coordinates all show preparations. Contact our Export team for more information.
Housing
Commerce is accepting proposals for a vendor to conduct a fair market rent
reevaluation. Select the “Fair Market Rent Reevaluation” RFP to learn more. Submit
questions to Amanda Battin at amanda.battin2@mt.gov. Proposal deadline is Sept.13,
2024.
HOME Investment Partnerships Program, Housing Trust Fund and CDBG-
Housing application deadline Sept. 17, 2024. Note the federal Buy American
Preference as outlined in the Build America Buy America Act will be effective for all
materials used in HOME and HTF projects funded with 2024 funds. All projects funded
with 2024 CDBG-Housing grants will have BAP requirements for iron, steel, non-
ferrous metals, lumber, composite building materials and plastic and polymer-based
pipe and tube.

Infrastructure and Planning
Montana Coal Endowment Program Infrastructure Planning Grant Application
Cycle has been extended and will now close on Sept. 30, 2024. Additional grant
funding is available for the 2025 Biennium Montana Coal Endowment Program
Planning Grants for American Rescue Plan Act-eligible applications. Capital
Improvements Plans and Preliminary Engineering Reports for bridge systems are not
ARPA-eligible planning projects for this application cycle. Applications will be accepted
on a first come, first served basis until all available funding is allocated. Apply now.
