Dear Mayor Cunningham & City of Bozeman commissioners -
I was shocked to learn that trapping is permitted on the parcel of Sourdough Canyon owned by
the City of Bozeman. Recreational trapping and snaring have no place on the first mile and ahalf of a trail that is frequented by families with young children and off-leash dog walkers.
Please consider redesignating the municipal property in Sourdough Canyon as "trap-free" forthe safety of all the other user groups who enjoy this popular trail.
