Hi,
Thanks for taking feedback for the problem of people living on the streets of Bozeman.
1. is Bozeman better or worse after allowing people to live on the streets or public property?
2. Are streets, parks, campgrounds, etc. a place for people to live, or are they meant for something else?
3. Is it a better use of city money and resources to maintain a clean and safe environment, or to deal with the issues
that arise with those living outside of normal living situations?
4. Is allowing people to live in places that people shouldn’t be living enabling those who need to be responsible for
making changes to better their lives?
5. What impression are we giving to the world by allowing Bozeman to have people living on the streets?
6. By not allowing people to live where they shouldn’t be, can that help people to move or make changes to be in a
normal living situation?
7. Is it fair to a community to allow an environment that isn’t as it should be?
8. Is city leadership not being responsible by allowing people to live on the streets?
We need Bozeman to get back to how it used to be. You all can help make this happen by not allowing anyone to
live on the streets or where they shouldn’t be. I understand that sometimes there can be different ways to view
things, but please do what the city needs.
1. Homes are made for living. If a person can’t afford to live here, they should be responsible and correct that
situation. It’s not the job of the city to accommodate them not being responsible and living in a way that affects a
community negatively.
2. There is normality in a society, and that is what should be encouraged.
Even if you don’t see it or agree with it, please look at how Bozeman is now worse off and the best way to correct
the situation is to say no living in streets, campgrounds or anyplace that is not normal housing.
Thank you for your efforts.
Sincerely,
Paul
