To the city of Bozeman, Montana and her commissioners and leaders
I humbly ask as a resident of the incredible state of Montana that you would ban trapping in
the sourdough watershed.
Trapping is a nonselective method that kills anything that comes into the trap, be a snare or afoothold and cruel and ugly thing from our past. Trapping needs to be banned everywhere.
There are better ways to make a living, but don’t require the death of our Fellow creatures.
Moose elk grizzlies are some of the non-target species that are affected by this practice.
Let’s make this space safe for us and for the incredible creatures that we get to live near and
enjoy.
