I am writing to express my concern and protest to the 4 story apartments to be built north of Bennett Ave. There has
come a point in which the line between meeting Bozeman’s housing needs due to growth and the benefit to local
business and government have become blurred. It is a delicate balance and should be done with the future of the
community in mind. At some point, if you are not careful the very thing that attracts people here will disappear only
to give way to the very reason people left where they came from. You have already made it almost impossible
monetarily for many who grew up here and made Bozeman the town it is today to live here. Most forced to moving
outside of the area only to have long commutes to work. Keep it up by maximizing housing density and you will
unfortunately be witness to the same economic issues many of the towns in Colorado are experiencing. Think of the
town and the people you are responsible for. Don’t let greed rule.
