Dear Bozeman City Commissioners, Freedom Day the Asher Way is the book my good friend will read at See You At The Library story hour on August 24th in the Bozeman Public Library. Asher wants to make everythingperfect, so he decides to use his powers as a mayor to regulate prices and, likely to him and the town, quickly realizes that the free market is better for sellers and buyers. The second book explains why nicely-sounded lies about important things are incomparably more harmful than the harsh truth. Both books are written for 5-year-old kids to understandand enjoy. You didn't have the guts to support this event. Still, since at least two of you here have not hadthe opportunity to learn human nature, you may be curious enough to join See You At The Library for an educational experience. When you acknowledge in the city document that "our ability to live here "is due to colonizingpolicies, practices of genocide, cultural erasure, and the enslavement of Black people," you must understand that "our" doesn't include anyone who works and pays their taxes to makethis city function. Two groups currently live here on the stolen land or stolen property. The First group is urban campers and tenants who believe they are entitled to live on someoneelse's property without paying and that taxpayers are obligated to pay for lawyers to ensure this entitlement. I lived on rent for more than 20 years; my husband and I spent 60 tosometimes close to 70 percent of our income on rent because we needed a home in a good school neighborhood. High-paid lawyers never protect people from being unlawfully evicted, but plenty of such lawyers protect scammers from being lawfully evicted. When you discuss decorum, your first ethical action should be to ask the deputy mayor, Joye Morrison, about hisconnections to the Tenant United and why he didn't recuse himself from the discussion. The second group is illegal immigrants who literally invade American land. When you are discussing your duties and responsibilities, it would be helpful if you answer three questions:why was Bozeman the only Montana city that didn't let retired resident DEA agent Stacy Zinn talk with Bozeman students;how is it possible that while working Americans cannot afford to live here, illegal migrants have enough money to have money transform facilities in the mall and send money back to thecountries they came from; if targeting native Americans with fentanyl and sterilizing children isn't genocide, then what isgenocide?
