The commission should strengthen the ordinance, and we should continue to build affordable units. The number of good people who have had to leave our community because they can't afford housing is ridiculous. It is heartbreaking to hear the stories I hear from my students saying that they don't know if they are returning to school because they are extremely stressed out about affordable housing.
