Thank you so much for taking the time to re-visit the AHO. Growth + affordability is an
issue that requires time and effort to get it right. The current AHO has so many problems,perhaps it should be completely revised in conjunction with the rewriting of the UDC. The
land is the major asset and you should not give it away for anyone's profit unless there arereasonable benefits. Allow for deeper incentives along the main arteries of town. Be careful
with our neighborhoods: respect existing character and re-visit the demolition clause thateliminates older multi-unit buildings for high profit luxury housing. These empty "homes"
serve no one but the wealthy jet-setters. They do not become neighbors. Please require morethan administrative review for buildings that will permanently alter the way people live in
congested neighborhoods. Make sure there are provisions that will not allow short-termrental shoppers from benefiting from a ski vacation by "renting" an apartment for a month.
