MBCC Educational Power Hour
Dear Subscriber,
This week's Educational Power Hour will explore what the Child and Family Ombudsman
with the Montana Department of Justice does and how the program is supporting children
and families in Montana. Please join us tomorrow, August 20, 2024, from 9:30 - 10:30
AM.
FYI! There will be a two week break between this week's EPH and the next one
scheduled for Tuesday, September 10! Please be on the lookout for a new Zoom link
before the September 10th Educational Power Hour!

Child and Family Ombudsman
Thank you for joining us today, Kaci!
Kaci has been working within the Montana child welfare network for almost 20 years. She
has been with the DOJ for almost four years as the Child and Family Ombudsman. Prior to
her work at DOJ, she worked with federal stakeholders to pair early childhood home
visitors with local CPS workers. She has done direct work with children and families in the
foster care world. Kaci holds a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and a bachelor’s
degree in Psychology. When not at work, Kaci spends time with her family enjoying the
beautiful Montana outdoors.
