At the direction of the City Commission, anonymous public comments are not distributed to the Board or staff. Public comments will also be accepted in-person and through Video Conference during the appropriate agenda items. As always, the meeting will be streamed through the Commission's video page and available in the City on cable channel 190. STRATEGIC PLAN:4.4 Vibrant Downtown, Districts & Centers: Promote a healthy, vibrant Downtown, Midtown, and other commercial districts and neighborhood centers – including higher densities and intensification of use in these key areas. Q3.pdf Report compiled on: August 15, 2024 5 Economic Development Director’s Report Business Improvement District Board August 2024 General Updates Parking Updates • Baker Tilly is compiling an updated cash flow analysis for the Downtown URD, this will be presented to the board once completed. • The newly hired COB Parking Manager is Nic Focken, formerly parking enforcement officer and interim parking manager. • We have confirmed the 2024 Parking Working Group Members and scheduled our first meeting on Sept 13 at 2pm at City Hall. Thanks Randy and Mark for representing the BID board! Maintenance Program Update The flower watering truck was taken in for a minor repair at the end of July, hazard lights were malfunctioning. Below are the maintenance statistics comparing the year-to-date figures from this year (FY25) to the corresponding stats from last year (FY24).
