Poetry Out Loud Needs You!
Each year dozens of Montana high school students participate in Poetry Out Loud,
the national poetry recitation competition founded by the National Endowment for the
Arts. The Montana Arts Council administers Poetry Out Loud in Big Sky Country, and
it's a big job—big enough that we need someone like you to help us make it happen.

We're hiring for a Poetry Out Loud Outreach Coordinator (OC). This position comes
with a variety of duties: the OC disseminates promotional and curricular materials to
school administrators, educators, and students; supports prospective and current
participants through print and digital newsletters, phone calls, emails, and messaging;
tracks outreach contact with schools and students; and provides administrative
support for competitions. The OC works under the guidance of MAC’s Arts Education
Director, and is supported by an outreach team of four adult professionals assists in
supporting the work of the OC.
