Dear Members of the City Commission,
I just wanted to reach out and thank you for reclaiming the review authority and denying the
Guthrie. Although you did not all vote the same way, it is respectable that you all showedthorough and thoughtful consideration of the issues. As gatekeepers, you were charged with a
very challenging decision to make- I can't imagine the pressure. In the end, the neighborhoodand residents who live here are the winners. I believe everyone who witnessed the process
understands you are staunch advocates and dedicated proponents of affordable housing, butare willing to the community when the circumstances of a proposed project are just not a good
fit. Many people are very grateful for your thoughtful decision. Thank you.
