Hello board members,
I hope you will make some time to listen to this podcast. Nobody in Bozeman likes these great
big box-buildings and it turns out we’re not wrong.
I find it insidious when people leverage the sympathetic parts of our collective values(ecology, land-stewardship, social justice, affordability) to get us to buy into these structures.
And I resent when those of us who oppose them are painted as being against renters in our
neighborhoods. Nothing could be further from the truth, and it turns out it’s a false dichotomy.
The sooner we can limit parcel assembly, the sooner we can prioritize the development ofsmall local builders over these globally funded monstrosities that extract wealth and resources
from our community to the detriment of all.
