To whom it may concern,
I would like to leave comment on the Guthrie project. I regret that I can’t be at the commission
meeting tonight in person as I am taking care of our children. My wife Jin-Ju is there but I’d like
to also leave comment.

The commissions role is to review current standards and regulations which this project
has met.
These regulations may have been adequate for the time that they were created, but are
not up to par for the times we live in now.
As you can see, the community is voicing strongly that the law is not up to par.
Approving this project at this time, and in its current state, would bring many more
projects just like it into the pipeline. This is a watershed moment. Do we want projects
like this all over the city? Every developer will see this and take advantage of it in this
manner.
Although there is a need for affordable and low-cost housing, the laws that are being
used on this project are not for the betterment of the community. To put it mildly, they
do quite the opposite.
Your names will be attached to the approval or dissent of this project.
Getting a wider range of opinions from the larger Bozeman community, if they would
like more projects like this in their community, would behoove the commission.
I thank you for your consideration to dissent at this time and in the scope of this project
as it stands.
