Public comments will also be accepted in-person and through Video Conference during the appropriate agenda items. As always, the meeting will be streamed through the Commission's video page and available in the City on cable channel 190. All persons addressing the Board shall speak in a civil and courteous manner and members of the audience shall be respectful of others. Q3.pdf Report compiled on: July 11, 2024 5 Economic Development Director’s Report Business Improvement District Board July 2024 General Updates Board Appointments BID and URD Board appointments were made at the June 25th City Commission Meeting. • BID Appointments: Mark Kehke and Susan Neubauer, terms ending June 30, 2028. • URD Appointments: John How, Marley McKenna, Tony Renslow and Nicholas Wickes. • Downtown Bozeman Association currently has a board member vacancy. Parking Updates • Baker Tilly is compiling an updated cash flow analysis for the Downtown URD, this will be presented to the board once completed. • The newly hired COB Parking Manager is Nick Focken, formerly parking enforcement officer and interim parking manager. o • We are looking to formalize a “Parking Working Group” in the coming months with representation from DURD, BID, DBA, CoB and at large community members. Maintenance Program Update Flower baskets were installed the week of June 3. We are officially transitioned to all Earth Planter baskets. Patty is currently watering four days a week (each basket gets filled twice a week). The tinsel has been ordered for the gold holiday spider to be replaced this winter. Below are the maintenance statistics comparing the year-to-date figures from this year (FY24) to the corresponding stats from last year (FY23).
