Additional Funding Available: Montana Coal Endowment ProgramInfrastructure Planning Grant
Additional grant funding is available for the 2025 biennium Montana Coal
Endowment Program Planning Grants for American Rescue Plan Act-
eligible applications.
ARPA-eligible applications include water system, wastewater system,
stormwater and solid waste preliminary engineering reports.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come/first-served basis until all
available funding is allocated. The next review cycle will begin July 8, 2024,
so don’t delay submitting your applications.

For the 2025 biennium only, communities may be awarded planning grants
of up to $40,000 for:
Preliminary engineering reports to study:
Drinking water systems
Wastewater treatment systems
Sanitary sewer systems
Storm water systems
Solid waste disposal and separation systems
