Read-Only Content Full Name Scott Creel Email screel@montana.edu Phone Comments Dear Commissioners, I am writing to strongly oppose the proposed increases in levies for city services of 7% over each of the next two years. For decades, city commissioners have failed to collect the allowable impact fees for new development, arguing that growth and increases to the tax base were desirable. It is now glaringly apparent that this is, and always has been, false. Please adopt policies that do not force long term residents with Montana salaries to subsidize new million dollar houses. I really do not know if we will be able to stay here after working for decades to make MSU a better (not bigger!) university, simply because we will not be able to afford this trajectory. It is time for you to make concrete decisions that stop the never-ending increase in costs for longterm residents. Thank you, Scott Creel If you would like to submit additional documents (.pdf, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .gif, .jpg, .png, .rtf, .txt) along with your comment, you may alternately address agenda@bozeman.net directly to ensure receipt of all information.
