I live on the west side of Bozeman and feel that the Fowler extension
would benefit this whole part of town and others who drive here. There is
NO street that connects Oak and Main/Huffine between 19th and Ferguson
—that’s a LONG way. Hunters Way peters out. 27th ends at Durston.
(There’s not even a connection between Babcock and Huffine between
25th and Fowler.) So we zig and zag and use streets not really designed for
through traffic. It’s tough for me to find direct routes among my various
errands; I imagine that delivery services and various repair and service
businesses put thousands of extra miles on their fleets every year by
having to find other north-south routes.
I understand that some property owners along the proposed route feel ill-
used. But they should have known that the land bordering theirs was
subject to eventual development. I regret the negative impact they
anticipate, but the project is in the best interests of the entire community.
Please proceed with the Fowler project.

275 N Ferguson #2
(previously 1103 Meagher, which has had more traffic than would be
expected on a residential street)
