AT ALL TIMES DURING CONSTRUCTION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PREVENTING AND CONTROLLING ONSITE EROSION DUE TO WIND AND RUNOFF. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING EROSION CONTROL FACILITIES SHOWN. 2. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING DRAINAGE AND EROSION CONTROL FACILITIES AS REQUIRED. STREETS SHALL BE KEPT CLEAN OF DEBRIS FROM SITE TRAFFIC. 3. EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURES BELOW SODDED AREAS MAY BE REMOVED ONCE SOD AND FINAL LANDSCAPING IS IN PLACE. EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURES BELOW SEEDED AREAS MUST REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL THE ENTIRE AREA HAS ESTABLISHED A MATURE COVERING OF HEALTHY VEGETATION (70% MIN.). EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURES IN PAVED AREAS SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL PAVING IS COMPLETE, & LANDSCAPE DRAINING ON TO PAVEMENT IS COMPLETE. 4. ADDITIONAL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES MAY BE REQUIRED DUE TO UNFORESEEN PROBLEMS OR IF THE PLAN DOES NOT FUNCTION AS INTENDED. A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY OR COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT MAY REQUIRE ADDITIONAL CONTROL DEVICES UPON INSPECTION OF PROPOSED FACILITIES. 5. CONTRACTOR SHALL USE VEHICLE TRACKING CONTROL AT ALL LOCATIONS WHERE VEHICLES WILL ENTER OR EXIT THE SITE. CONTROL FACILITIES WILL BE MAINTAINED WHILE CONSTRUCTION IS IN PROGRESS, MOVED WHEN NECESSARY, AND REMOVED WHEN THE SITE WORK IS COMPLETED. 6. THE DEVELOPER MUST OBTAIN A MONTANA POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM (MPDES) OR NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM (NPDES) PERMIT FOR THE OVERALL DEVELOPMENT SITE. CONTRACTOR MUST OBTAIN A COPY OF THE PERMIT AND COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIC TO THE SUBJECT PROPERTY CONSTRUCTION AREA, INCLUDING ALL NECESSARY INSPECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES. 7. CONTRACTOR MUST OBTAIN PERMITS FOR UTILITY TRENCH DEWATERING. 8. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL OF ALL SWPPP SYSTEMS. CITY INSPECTOR MUST APPROVE THE REMOVAL OF ALL SWPPP DEVICES. 9. ALL SWPPP DRAINAGE SYSTEMS USING A GEOTECHNICAL FABRIC FOR INLET GRATE PROTECTION MUST HAVE FABRIC REGULARLY CLEANED (14 DAY INTERVAL MAX, MORE FREQUENTLY IF NEEDED) TO INSURE THAT SILT DOES NOT FORM IMPERMEABLE BARRIER OVER INLET. 10.THE CONTRACTOR IS TO PROVIDE NOI, AS WELL AS COMPLETED SWPPP APPLICATION PER STATE OF MONTANA DEQ TEMPLATE, AS WELL AS ALL OTHER NECESSARY PERMITS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. EXISTING GROUND MIN. 2 FT.EMBEDMENT POST TO BE 2" X 2" WOODSYNTHETIC FILTER FABRIC, E.O.S.=100 TO 50, SECURED TO POSTS MIN. 4" DEEP TRENCH FOR FABRIC EMBEDMENT MIN. 2 FT.
