The irrigation demand and the irrigation source (municipal water or groundwater well) just need to be called out on the landscaping/irrigation sheets. If a GW well will be used we’ll need a pre‐determination from the DNRC. As long as those pieces are there we should be all set. Per your comment, we are to request a new CILWR fee with updated irrigation demand. Our LA team has determined this demand to be 160,896 gallons per growing season (16 week irrigation duration). For reference, the other project’s annual estimate demand was 6.87AF with irrigation which, at $6,000/AF, came out to $41,246 for the CILWR fee. If so then the best way to approach the CILWR determination is to base demand on the other location. To do this I would need the meter data from the other location (preferably 3 locations with 3 years of data in excel). Otherwise, I can use meter data from other carwashes in Bozeman. One process chance, with our Planning Departments’ adoption of the ProjectDox software I’m performing the CILWR review in tandem with the planner and develop review engineer. We are hoping to submit a site plan application to the city later this week and as such this is a required item of the application. The proposed car wash is approximately 4950 sq ft and would feature recirculation tanks. Please let us know if you need any additional information, thanks!
