Dear Bozeman City Commission,
I would like to express my support for Emma Bode for the City Commission Vacancy
Appointment. Emma has been an active and persistent voice in our community on priorityissues such as sustainability, affordable housing, and inclusivity. I have known Emma
personally and professionally for many years and I trust that she has the skill, knowledge, fortitude, and heart to serve our community well in this esteemed role. Emma has shown
persistence in seeking the appointment again, and I believe that persistence will be useful inpassionate dialogue with neighbors and various stakeholders. Emma is also energetic, joyful,
thoughtful, well-spoken, and a dedicated researcher. I have witnessed her joy andthoughtfulness firsthand as a friend and acquaintance, and as a fellow organizer. I expect that
she will be a team player on the commission and work to engage our community in thedecisions that impact our daily lives. As a young, ambitious, hardworking woman who at
times struggles to see a livable future for myself in Bozeman, I am hopeful about thecontributions Emma would make as a commissioner. Furthermore, I believe she will invest in
connections and conversations that will have a meaningful impact in communities across ourgreat state. Thank you for your time, energy, and consideration in supporting Emma Bode for
commission.
Sincerely,Tia Goebel
