Dear Bozeman City Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Commissioners,
I am writing in full support of Emma Bode to fill the City Commission vacancy.
I am writing this the night before my high school graduation. I am incredibly excited to have
finished this chapter of my life. However, I am also terrified to graduate into a world facingthe impending threat of the climate crisis and increasing hostility to the LGBTQ+ community.
Over the past year, I've become immersed in advocating for local sustainability policy.
Throughout this journey, I had the privilege of witnessing Emma Bode’s unwaveringcommitment to our community. Emma’s warmth and dedication have shaped me into a
kinder, more empathetic listener. Her dedication to positive change and her ability to connectwith people make her an ideal candidate for the City Commission vacancy.
As a queer Montanan and a young person, I am confident that Emma will advocate for
our community. I wholeheartedly endorse Emma Bode and urge you to consider her for thisrole. Together, we can build a more sustainable and inclusive Bozeman.
