The reasons being her knowledge of the existing city ordinances and laws of development in Bozeman. And also her recognition of the urgency for affordable housing and preservation ofhistoric areas within the city. She has studied how other cities have successfully dealt with similar situations, and how they came up with solutions that addressed both sides of theseissues. Alison has also proven to be an effective spokesperson in connecting organizations and groups in working together for the common good. She supports open dialog betweenopposite sides to find a more balanced growth plan. And as a native Bozeman person she sees the growth over the last 30+ years of her beloved town and wants what best to insure a prosperous city for all to enjoy, while preserving the pasthistorical legacy of Bozeman. Please consider Alison when you vote for Commissioner. She would be invaluable addition to help you navigate the road to preservation of the historical districts, while also meeting theneeds for development for more housing. Sincerely, Chris Marie Forest Great great grandaughter of Christopher and Catherine Boyle Waterman andWilliam and Ellen Flannery Arnold, who were 1860s Pioneers of Bozeman.
