Hello Commissioners,
I am writing to voice my enthusiastic support for either Alison Sweeney or Emily Talago to fill the
vacant commission seat.
Alison Sweeney is a sixth generation Montanan that has deep care and knowledge of our
community. She has volunteered countless hours to garner knowledge on the complexities of
affordable housing, which is consistently identified as one of the most pressing issues facing our
community. Her stewardship of our community is visible through her leadership within the Better
Bozeman Coalition, helping to advocate for historic preservation and thoughtful development.
Additionally, she started a new neighborhood association to advocate for and alongside her
neighbors.Alison has consistently demonstrated her commitment to serving the citizens of
Bozeman, and we would all benefit greatly from having her in the commission seat.
Another applicant I would like to vocalize my support for is Emily Talago. Her consistent
commitment to community service and engagement in local issues demonstrates her deep care
for the city. She understands local policy, truly hears people and their problems out,and always
seeks the smartest and most responsible solutions.Personally, she is kind, caring, and so
thoughtful in her approach.
I would be thrilled if either Emily or Alison were appointed to the City Commission. There is no
doubt that they will serve our community well with their intelligence, care, and thoughtfulness.
