May 30, 2024; 9:45am To: Mayor Terry Cunningham, Commissioner Douglas Fischer, and Director of Transportation and Engineering Nick Ross Subject: Fowler Ave Connection (FAC); a complete FAC 30% design walk-through isneeded I am writing to thank the City for offering an FAC 30% design walk-through for Oak St to Durston Rd on June 12. That said, I am also writing to say the public deserves theopportunity for an FAC 30% design walk-through for Durston Rd to Huffine Ln before the June 18 City Commission meeting—the meeting at which the City is scheduled to presentthe FAC 60% design to the public. If there is not time before June 18 for the City to hold a Durston Rd to Huffine Ln walk- through, then I ask the City to postpone presenting the FAC 60% design until such time asthe public has had the opportunity to do an FAC 30% design walk-through of the entire length of the FAC from Oak St to Huffine Ln. Thank you. Sincerely, Daniel Carty213 N. We very much agree on timing. Yesterday the city announced our invitation for the walking tour, to be held the evening of June 12th: https://engage.bozeman.net/fowler/news_feed/fowler-walking-tour. We’re always looking to improve our ability to reach people, so would you mind contacting me directly if you have not received notice of this meeting by end of the week? We’ll also be confined to public property for our tour, but I’m happy to lead those interested as far up and down the corridor as they’d like. -Nick Nicholas Ross, P.E.
