Hello to those in charge of City Commission selection,
Thank you for allowing public comment on this issue. I'd like to show my support of EmmaBode’s appointment as a city commissioner. I have worked alongside her in a localnonprofit and have watched her organize and advocate in many different spheres in this
community. Emma’s consistent care for Bozeman residents is evident in everything she does. When she is not working full-time, she is thinking of ways we can mitigate the effects of
climate change locally and address the housing crisis. She is thoughtful and strategic in herdecision-making and works to fully understand the nuance of large decisions, particularly
those that involve this city.
Emma possesses an innate and impressive ability to somehow know everyone - she builds andmaintains relationship with incredible grace. As a young adult, I have often felt disconnected
from our city commission because I haven’t seen much representation of my generation or mygender. Emma is that representation and she is the grassroots energy and care this
commission and this city needs so desperately right now. I've said this before and I'll say itagain and again: I truly believe you will not find someone as passionate, creative and energetic
as Emma Bode for this position and I sincerely believe she will be an integral addition to thiscommission.
Thank you for you time in reading and considering my comment and thank you always for the
work you do for this City. May the summer sun keep you well.
