This calculation was taken to the inside of the parapet wall. Imprevious Surface Area: There is a new area of 468 SF of asphalt being proposed at the rear of the building. Please reference C100 & C200 for location of added impervious surface area. Drainage calculations - Q= CiA Because i is the same for all the calculations, I’m using Q/i = CA for the comparison. C pavement = 0.95, C roof = 0.85, C landscaping = 0.2 The roof area is currently asphalt or concrete pavement C*A =4936*0.95=4689.2 The new pavement area is currently landscaping C*A = 468*0.2= 93.6 The existing C*A= 4782.8 The new roof C*A = 4936*0.85= 4195.6 The new pavement C*A = 468*0.95=444.6 The new total C*A = 4640.2 These calculations show that the new configuration will decrease the rate at which water leaves the site. This should improve the storm drainage for the city master plan. Comments From the Architectural Designer: Ref. #18 states, “DSSP II - Provide a memo showing the change in roof size and impervious area and show if the increase fits within the mater storm water plan.” However, no Master Plan has been provided. Please advise. END OF REPORT #01 XXX, XXX 9/29/23 Realtors / Brokers / Managers Developers / Consultants / Architects (801) 485-7770 Fax (801) 485-0209
