Joint Public Hearing Notice: Wednesday, May 29, 2024
The Montana Departments of Commerce and Public Health and Human Services are
announcing a joint public hearing for following documents:
2023-2024 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report
The 2023-2024 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)
reports accomplishments and progress on current Consolidated Plan goals for the State of
Montana’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment
Partnerships Program (HOME), Housing Trust Fund (HTF), and Emergency Solutions
Grant (ESG) programs. The CAPER is available for public comment from May 15, 2024,
to June 3, 2024. The 2023-2024 CAPER reviews the past period of performance from
April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024.
2024-2025 Annual Action Plan
The 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan (AAP) summarizes the actions, activities and
resources available for the State of Montana’s CDBG, HOME, HTF and ESG programs.
The AAP is available for public comment from May 15, 2024, to June 13, 2024. The 2024-
2025 AAP looks forward at the period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
For more information and to provide oral comments on both documents, the public is
invited to attend a virtual public hearing on May 29, 2024, at 2 p.m. MST. This public
hearing will be held on Zoom and presentation materials will be available on Commerce’s
website prior to the public hearing. This public hearing will provide an overview of
applicable requirements and takeaways from the 2023-2024 CAPER and 2024-2025 AAP.
The State of Montana will consider any comments or views provided in writing during the
specified comment periods or orally during the public hearing.
All documents are available electronically on Commerce’s website, as a hardcopy by
request and at select repositories across the state. All comments regarding the 2023-2024
CAPER must be submitted to the address or email below no later than June 3, 2024, at 5
p.m. MST. All comments regarding the 2024-2025 AAP must be submitted to the address
or email below no later than June 13, 2024, at 5 p.m. MST.
